We enjoyed the rest of yesterday afternoon on the ship. Anne Marie sat out at the pool for the first time this cruise and Keith did some writing, reading and spoke with some fellow passengers and crew members.
Last evening we were back in the Main Dining Room. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and believe it or not we did not have any seafood. Anne Marie had a chicken entrée and Keith enjoyed a wonderful entrée of venison. We each had a salad and yet, you guessed it berries for our dessert.
Keith began his day in the fitness center with another good workout and he spoke with one of the fellow passenger’s for a good portion of the workout so it went by very quickly. Afterwards, he had coffee at the Lido Café and sat with fellow passengers Chuck and Steve. Likewise, Anne Marie enjoyed her morning workout at the fitness center.
We enjoyed a very nice breakfast in our room and then got ready for the morning activities.
Keith participated in the second spin class of the cruise and enjoyed a great workout. . Only one other passenger took today’s class along with Keith. It was an outstanding class, which was taught by the other fitness director. He took Keith and the other guest on a course as if we were in Cape Town and heading to the Wine Country.
At 10:00, we attended the presentation given by Corey Sandler, which was part of a two-part introduction to the Panama Canal.
Later in the morning, Keith played Paddle Tennis for about 90 minutes with several of the fellow passengers and had a wonderful time while Anne Marie sat on the deck below and was talking with Ricki and then David joined them. The four of us had a wonderful lunch and conversation in the Main Dining Room.
Anne Marie took a long walk on the Promenade Deck while Keith read and wrote.
Today’s weather was wonderful and it is nice to be away from the Cold.
This evening we will be attending a cocktail reception at Captain Egil Giske’s quarters. Afterwards, we will be dining with Mary-Catherine Wilks who is Director of Crystal’s Loyalty Programs and Guest Relations along with some other guests on board the ship. We will post about all of this tomorrow.
The following is a quote that is very special to us. It is our view of life that is to focus on solutions rather than focusing solely on problems.
